1980s SIREN TAWNY KITAEN DIES AT AGE 59

Actress and 1980s pin-up Tawny Kitaen died Friday at age 59, in Newport Beach, Calif. No cause of death has been released. The former model starred in the films Bachelor Party, opposite Tom Hanks, The Perils of Gwendoline and After Midnight, but she is perhaps best known for her roles in the Whitesnake videos Is This Love and Here I Go Again. In the latter, Kitaen memorably performed the splits and other moves on two Jaguar hoods. She also appeared in the music video for the Ratt song Back for More. Kitaen’s TV credits include The New WKRP in Cincinnati, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and reality shows such as Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew and Botched. Kitaen (whose real first name was Julie) wed Whitesnake singer David Coverdale in 1989. She was also married to baseball star Chuck Finley — the father of her two daughters, Wynter and Raine.
