POMPEO TEASES GREY’S ANATOMY END MAY BE IN SIGHT

Ellen Pompeo says fans may be right in thinking that Grey’s Anatomy is close to the end. The 17th season of the medical drama saw several past cast members return. “They’re not far off. I mean, I’ve been trying to get away for years,” Pompeo, plays Meredith Grey, told reporters Sunday. “I have been trying. It’s not because I haven’t been trying. I have strong relationships at the network and they have been very, very good to me, and have incentivized me to stay.” The actress wouldn’t confirm an end date, though. “I’m not really supposed to say anything about it. I don’t want to be disrespectful to people I’ve promised things to,” she said. But Pompeo, shown, did acknowledge that the show will continue “as long as there’s something to do, creatively.”
