JOHNSON CLAIMS RED NOTICE TOPS NETFLIX VIEWING

Red Notice is now Netflix’s most-watched movie, says star Dwayne Johnson. “In just 11 days, you have made Red Notice the biggest movie in the history of Netflix,” he said in an Instagram video. “Like an unstoppable force, you are also making Red Notice the mostwatched property in the history of Netflix in film or in television.” As of last Wednesday, Red Notice had ranked No. 2 with 277.9 million hours logged around the world. Bird Box at that point topped it with 282 million hours. The horror thriller starring Sandra Bullock had been released in 2018. Netflix hasn’t confirmed Johnson’s claim. Meanwhile, co-star Ryan Reynolds was honoured with a Governor General’s Award on Friday night. He posted a thank-you video on Instagram, saying, “I’m not crying. It’s just maple syrup.”
