Sexual assaults must be reported

Re: Thousands demand Western change its ways (Sept. 18), it's unclear how a student-led walkout by mostly female Western University students will deter men from slipping date-rape drugs into women's drinks.

It's unclear how sharing a story about sexual assault, will deter men from sexually assaulting women on campus.

Walking and sharing are not effective actions against criminal behaviour. Stiff consequences need to be enforced. Report and identify perpetrators to campus and London police.
