Remains found in wooded area of Guildford may be human: police

Surrey RCMP and the B.C. Coroners Service have both launched investigations after what are believed to be human remains were discovered in a residential area of Surrey on Monday.

Mounties say a member of the public found what appears to be partial human remains in a wooded area around 5 p.m. near the 8000block of 148A Street in Guildford, near a school.
