Senior killed by jumper

A man in New York City jumped off a roof, killing himself and the man he landed on.

“Preliminary information is that a distraught 25-year-old male jumped off the roof of the building, falling 12 storeys onto the concrete parking garage roof below and striking a 61-year-old male,” the Yonkers Police Department said in a news release.

Both men died at the scene before 8 p.m. Monday.

Cops were investigating the “apparent suicide” and “interviewing witnesses and family members” who might be able to provide any details.

Police were also reviewing surveillance video in the area.

“The incident appears to be a tragic situation and the investigation is ongoing,” police added, offering their condolences to the families of both men.
