COLTS’ NELSON NEEDS SURGERY ON RIGHT FOOT
Three-time All-pro left guard Quenton Nelson will have surgery to repair a bone issue in his right foot Tuesday after being injured during Indianapolis Colts practice on Monday.
The Colts said Nelson left practice after his foot was stepped on. He was spotted watching Tuesday’s practice in a protective boot.
Coach Frank Reich said Nelson will have the same procedure quarterback Carson Wentz underwent on Monday. Both players are expected to miss between five and 12 weeks.
